Within its Corporate Social Responsibility, Markaz sponsors “Omniaty”

Markaz announced sponsoring “Omniaty”, which is a national, non-profit project which aims to grant wishes to children who are less fortunate with terminal, and deteriorating illnesses.

Basma Ghareeb, Vice President – Media & Communications at Markaz said "Our support for Omniaty’s noble cause reflects our keenness to outreach for the society and our belief in corporate social responsibility as an integral part of Markaz corporate culture. Based on this, we sustain a constant support to several social and charitable organizations such as the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society and “LoYAC".”

Ghareeb added: “Omniaty organizes several charitable activities and the latest was a marathon for children 5-12 year old which took place on February 9 at the Marina Crescent. Ominiaty’s services mainly focus on children with life threatening conditions, physical disabled children, and children with special needs having outstanding educational or recreational performances.”

Omniaty’s key responsibility is to ensure granting wishes to sick children in need, with no discrimination of gender, race or financial status. The project’s management team are all volunteers who totally donate their efforts to the missions and goals of Omniaty.
