Markaz Sponsors The 8th Annual Arab Media Forum 26 - Apr - 2011

Kuwait Financial Centre “Markaz”, one of the leading Asset Management and Investment Banking companies in the region, sponsored the 8th Annual Arab Media Forum, which was held under the patronage of His Highness The Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al Mohammed Al Sabah. The forum was attended by high political, economical and media figures from Kuwait and the Region.

The panel discussions of the event  covered a number of important topics at various levels, such as the role of media in the dialogue of civilizations, trends in the media coverage of the revolutions happening in the Arab world and Arab events in the eye of the Western media. Mr. Manaf Al-Hajeri, Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Financial Centre "Markaz” participated as a speaker in a seminar titled “Development and Investment in Media, Culture and Information”. Markaz was present in the exhibition held on the sidelines of the Forum, which was inaugurated on behalf of His Highness the Prime Minister, His Excellency the Minister of Information Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al Ahmed Al Sabah.
