INTRODUCTION
Kuwait Financial Centre "Markaz" organized a closed-door panel discussion titled "Key Emerging Themes”, which was held in Kuwait on 11 June 2008. The panel focused on specific areas such as Infrastructure, Telecom, Agriculture, Consumer and Commodities.
The panelists included analysts and senior representitives from Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank, Schroder Investment Management LTD, Nomura and Morgan Stanley. The moderators of the two sessions are Mr. Ali Khalil, Executive Vice President of Markaz and Raghu Mandagolathur, Senior Vice President of Research at Markaz.

INTRODUCTION
The future of global growth and the challenges the challenges faced by institutional asset managers worldwide and in the region became the most important part of the closed door discussion organized by Kuwait Financial Centre “Markaz” in Kuwait on 12 December 2007.
Apart from senior executives of Markaz, the panel comprised senior executives drawn from Mckinsey, Standard Chartered Bank, Credit Agricole, Investec, OPEC, Qatar Financial Center Regulatory Authority, Beltone Financial, MIBC, & Ask Investment Managers. The event was moderated by Mr. Richard Banks, Euromoney Conferences.
